A firmware is the software that controls the computer system (or the hardware) stored in an electronic equipment. This firmware, which is stored in the scanner device, controls the scanner’s performance.
Note:
This firmware update can be applied to only the scanner whose version is A1 or later. When updating the firmware with the scanner whose version is A0, please contact the store where you purchased the scanner or authorized FUJITSU scanner service provider.
The scanner revision can be confirmed on the scanner revision label at the back of the scanner.
