Added improvement:

• The startup time of TWAIN driver is shortened.

Corrected issue:

• The settings may not be correctly restored in the process of backup/restoration by DAT_CUSTOMDSDATA.
• Incorrect images may be output when the output file format was switched by
  DG_CONTROL/DAT_SETUPFILEXFER/MSG_SET after
  DG_CONTROL/DAT_USERINTERFACE/MSG_ENABLEDS was issued.
• The installation may not be completed correctly when the OS installation partition installed the driver in any locatopns other then C drive.

Driver download and installation

Download the driver to your hard disk by clicking the "Download" link below.This driver version supports Scanner Central Admin. Customers that want to use Scanner Central Admin, but have a scanner model which does not come bundled with the software, must download "Ftal8mX1m_R.exe" and install Scanner Central Admin Agent.

Download file has been a self-extracting format.

By executing the downloaded "Ftal8mX1m.exe" or "Ftal8mX1m_R.exe" file, program will be extracted in the same directory where the file exists. Refer to the above Disk space size as a measure of required Disk space. In case there is an existing driver, uninstall it before executing the file. Execute the "Setup.exe" in the created "¥Disk1" directory to start the driver installation.

For driver installation, please follow the Installation Guide. The functions and operation of the driver are in the "User's Guide (2.39 MB )" (size: 2.4MB) or "TWAIN driver help". (The "User's Guide", requires Adobe® Reader® 5.0 or later. If necessary, you can download it from: http://www.adobe.com.

How to install Scanner Central Admin Agent

1. Double-click the downloaded "Ftal8mX1m_R.exe" file. This creates a directory called "\SCAAgent."
2. Open that directory and double-click the "Setup.exe" to start the installation.
3. Refer to Scanner Central Admin User's Guide for the further details on how to install “Scanner Central Admin Agent Update.”

Note:
This driver can be used only with the supported scanner models.
This update is not required if there is no problem in your operating environment.
Before installation, please log in as administrator first.
