ScanSnap Manager:

From V6.5L10 to V6.5L20

• Improved the connectivity in wireless LANs. (iX100 only).
• Windows® 10 is supported.

From V6.3L31 to V6.5L20

• The performance of rendering PDF files under the latest recommended system requirements for ScanSnap (CPU: Intel® Core™ i5 2.5 GHz or higher, memory size: 4 GB or more) has been improved. ^(*1)
  Specifically, ScanSnap Organizer's rendering performance has significantly improved up to 200% compared to the previous version (the average time when scanned as color PDF files). ^(*2)
  
  (*1): When compared to the value obtained using ScanSnap Manager V6.3 or older and ScanSnap Organizer V5.2 or older.
  This improvement rate is available when rendering PDF files less than 1 GB (Note: 1 GB of data is roughly equivalent to 813 sheets of color documents scanned using the ""Best"" image quality setting.)
  
  (*2): Improvement rate varies depending on document type and/or scanning mode settings."
• Modified the error where [Scan to Dropbox] does not appear.

ScanSnap Organizer:

From V5.5L10 to V5.5L20

• The content of the message describing that the selected file will be opened in Viewing mode at ScanSnap Organizer Viewer startup has been modified.
• Windows® 10 is supported.

From V5.2L23 to V5.5L10

• The performance of rendering PDF files under the latest recommended system requirements for ScanSnap (CPU: Intel® Core™ i5 2.5 GHz or higher, memory size: 4 GB or more) has been improved. ^(*1)
  Specifically, ScanSnap Organizer's rendering performance has significantly improved up to 200% compared to the previous version (the average time when scanned as color PDF files). ^(*2)

If you are using ScanSnap Manager which version is earlier than V6.2L24, install ScanSnap Manager V6.2L24 before applying this update.
If you are using ScanSnap Organizer which version is earlier than V5.1L42, install ScanSnap Organizer V5.1L42 before applying this update.

Installation Instructions

Note:
If you perform the update online, the following procedure will not be necessary. Follow the instructions on the online update screen.

How to update

1. Be sure you log into Windows® as a user with administrator privileges.
2. Download "WinSSUpdatepackV65L20WW.exe" onto your hard drive.
   Make sure you have enough free disk space (at least more than twice the download file size) for installing the programs.
3. Quit any applications that are running on your computer.
4. Execute the downloaded "WinSSUpdatepackV65L20WW.exe" file to start the update installation.
5. Follow the instructions from the Installation Wizard to complete the installation.

How to check whether the update is successfully applied

ScanSnap Manager:

1. Right click the "S" mark in the task tray, select [Help] -> [About ScanSnap Manager] to display ScanSnap Manager Version Information.
2. In the "About ScanSnap Manager" window, confirm that the version of ScanSnap Manager is "V6.5L20".

ScanSnap Organizer:

1. Click [Options] under the Application button to display the options screen of ScanSnap Organizer.
2. Select the [Resources].
3. Click the [About] button.
4. In the "About ScanSnap Organizer" window, confirm that the version of ScanSnap Organizer is "V5.5L20".
