Modifications

New Features and Improved Points:

• ScanSnap Organizer Viewer is supported.

Fixed Malfunctions:

• This update pack will resolve the following malfunctions when ScanSnap Organizer is used with Windows® 7.
  • The [PDF automatic conversion] tab does not display in the Options screen, so the user cannot change the settings for automatic conversion.
  • Acrobat does not start up even when the Acrobat search function is executed.
  • BMP files cannot be printed.

Download the software update to your hard disk by clicking the "Download" link below.

If you are using Windows® 7 (64bit), complete and send the application from the Download Request Form for ScanSnap Setup Programs page to obtain the Setup Programs. (Be sure to apply this Update Pack after the installation.).

Installation Instructions

Note:
The update online function is not supported by this Update Pack.

How to update

1. Be sure you log into Windows® as a user with administrator privileges.
2. Download "OrgW3214-S510S500.exe" onto your hard drive.
   Make sure you have enough free disk space (at least more than twice the download file size) for installing the programs.
3. Quit any applications that are running on your computer.
4. Execute the downloaded "OrgW3214-S510S500.exe" file to start the update installation.
5. Follow the instructions from the Installation Wizard to complete the installation.
   Select [Open] when the message, "xxxxx is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" displays during the installation.

Now that you have completed the update, please refer to the Readme file prior to use.
