2D barcode recognition is now available as a standard feature at no charge.

2D barcode recognition, which was a paid option of PapaerStream for fi Series, is now available as a standard feature of the scanner software “PaperStream IP” and “PaperStream Capture.” Updating the software allows users to utilize the feature with no additional purchase or installation.
With this change, the paid option “2D Barcode for PaperStream” is no longer provided.
In addition, 2D barcode recognition is newly supported for SP Series as a standard feature of the updated software.

Improvement in QR code recognition accuracy

QR code recognition has been improved to provide higher accuracy, even for a small QR code (0.28 mm/module) on scanned documents or for a QR code printed by inkjet printers.
