Window Structure

The following describes the window structure.

Menu window

The following describes the Basic Menu as an example.

Menu Window
  • Window name

    Displays [Basic Menu], [Extended Menu], or [Maintenance Menu].

  • Tab

    Displays the [Basic] tab, [Extended] tab, and [Maintenance] tab.

    Displays the menu when you click on the tab.

  • Button

    Displays another window when you click on a button.

    For details about the buttons displayed in each menu, refer to the following:

  • Destination scanner name

    Displays the name of the ScanSnap when the currently connected ScanSnap is iX1600, iX1500, iX1300, or iX100.

    Click the name of the ScanSnap to display a window on which you can change the ScanSnap you want to connect.

    ATTENTION

    If a USB cable is used to connect the ScanSnap, you cannot change the ScanSnap you want to connect.

  • [Quit] button

    Closes the window.

Wireless Network Setup Wizard and Wireless Setup Tool

When you click a button in each menu, the Wireless Network Setup Wizard or Wireless Setup Tool is displayed.

Wireless Network Setup Wizard is started when you click Wi-Fi settings in the Basic Menu.

Wireless Setup Tool refers to the window that appears when you click another button.

The following describes Wireless Network Setup Wizard ([Wireless LAN setting] screen (network list)) as an example.

Wireless Network Setup Wizard

In the left pane, the following information is displayed.

  • For Wireless Network Setup Wizard

    Displays the window names in order of the wireless network setup.

    • When the wireless network setup is complete, "Done" appears.

      You can click on the window name to return to that window.

    • For the window that is currently displayed, "Being configured" appears.

  • For Wireless Setup Tool

    Displays the name of the current window.
