Changing the Folder Name

The name of a folder that is shown on the folder screen with the ScanSnap Sync function set to on can be changed.

Change the folder name in the following procedure.

  1. Tap the [Edit] button on the [Files] screen or do the same thing on the folder screen.

    A checkbox appears next to the folder name and file name.

  2. To rename the folder, select the checkbox by tapping the checkbox.

    The checkbox is selected.

  3. Tap Rename Button for folders.

    The [Rename] screen appears.

    HINT

    Rename Button for folders will be enabled only when a single folder is selected in the [Files] screen or the folder screen.

  4. Specify a folder name within 80 characters, and then tap the [OK] button.

    The folder name is changed.

    HINT

    A character with a symbol such as a Germanic umlaut or an Italian grave accent is counted as two characters. Examples are as follows:

    • ö

    • è

ATTENTION

  • The folder name can be changed only when an Internet connection is established with the ScanSnap Sync function set to on.

  • The name of the [Files] screen cannot be changed.

  • Do not close the application while renaming the folder. Doing so may slow down the next startup because the [Files] screen takes time to reload.
