A Connection Cannot Be Established with the ScanSnap during the Setup.
- Cause
- The issue may be caused by the following: - Is the ScanSnap turned off?
- Is the Wi-Fi switch of the ScanSnap turned off?
- Is the ScanSnap already used by other devices?
- Is the [Scan] button or the [Scan/Stop] button held down long enough?
- Did you perform the setup again, with the ScanSnap on after failing to connect to the ScanSnap?

- Solution
- Perform the following: - Turn on the ScanSnap.
- Turn on the Wi-Fi switch of the ScanSnap.
- Make sure that the ScanSnap is not used by other devices.
- Hold down the [Scan] button or the [Scan/Stop] button until the Wi-Fi indicator flashes in orange. When the Wi-Fi indicator lights up in orange, tap the [Search for ScanSnap] button on ScanSnap Connect Application.
-
If connecting to the ScanSnap fails, perform the following: - Close the ADF paper chute (cover) to turn the power off.
- Check that the mobile device is connected to the wireless access point that you want to set for the ScanSnap.
- Set up the ScanSnap again.
