You can continue scanning only when the error message appears in the following cases:

• For iX1300

  • No document was detected in either the ADF paper chute (cover) of the manual feeder.

  • Paper jam occurred.

  • The ADF top section or the top cover is open.

  • The Carrier Sheet, Photo Carrier Sheet, or Booklet Carrier Sheet has been loaded or inserted.

  • You tapped on [Tap here to cancel] during scanning.

  • A scan was stopped by the paper protection function.

  • Dirt was detected on the document sensor(s).

  • Documents have been loaded in the ADF paper chute (cover) and inserted in the manual feeder.

• For models other than iX1300

  • No document was detected in the ADF paper chute (cover).

  • Paper jam occurred.

  • The ADF top section or the top cover is open.

  • A Carrier Sheet or Photo Carrier Sheet has been loaded.

  • You tapped on [Tap here to cancel] during scanning.
