ABOUT
What is Raptor VISION BOTTLE?
Raptor VISION BOTTLE is a vision system equipped with an AI engine that identifies bottles by color. It combines an imaging unit based on PFU’s optical and image recognition technologies with proprietary algorithms. As bottles are conveyed on a conveyor belt, the system captures images with cameras and accurately identifies the color, type, and position of each bottle. It then sends the picking coordinates to the robot for automated sorting.
FEATURE
Leveraging the world’s No.1* document scanner technology
Composite Lighting Technology
By combining multiple, uniquely designed lighting conditions, the system highlights the key features of a wide variety of bottles.
Feature Fusion Recognition Technology
Our proprietary recognition algorithm combines features extracted from multiple images to achieve highly accurate bottle recognition.
Prohibited Item Recognition Technology
The system identifies bottles that should be excluded from the sorting process, such as cosmetic containers and bottles with residual contents.
Model Update Service
The AI engine is continuously improved through our model update service.
By adapting to changes in recyclable waste driven by product life cycles and seasonal trends, the system continuously enhances recognition accuracy in real-world operating environments.
Dashboard Service
The system provides timely visualization of key operational data, including the number of bottles processed and processing rates by bottle color, on an hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly basis. By offering insights into current progress and historical performance, it helps optimize resource utilization and improve operational efficiency.
Semi-Automated Annotation Tool
The semi-automated annotation tool reduces the effort required for model retraining by automatically mapping target data and supporting simple, efficient annotation workflows for users of all skill levels.
Looking ahead, we hope to use this technology to help create employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
* Scheduled for future release (not available to customers as of April 2024).
