No Print Cartridge

When this error occurs, the Operator Panel of the scanner shows "U" and "6" alternately.
Confirm if the Print Cartridge is installed correctly and the mount area is clean. If the cause is not clear, follow below procedure to resolve the issue:

  • Open the Print Section Cover.
  • Release the Arm and remove the Print Cartridge. If the mount area of the Print Cartridge is dirty, clean the mount area of Imprinter and Print Cartridge with a dry cloth.
  • Mount the Print Cartridge in the original position. Secure the Print Cartridge by locking the lever.
  • Close the Print Section Cover.
