Interface malfunction
To resolve interface problems, please check the following flowchart.
Is the interface cable (SCSI or USB) connected properly? |

Is the connector damaged? |

Is the total length of the SCSI cable less than 1.5m? |

Is any other SCSI device connected to the SCSI network chain? |

Please connect the scanner to the PC directly, and confirm if the scanner operates normally. |

Are you using a SCSI card that is guaranteed to perform well? |

Please use a SCSI card that is recommended by PFU for performance quality. |

Are you using the USB cable, provided with the scanner? |
No

Please use the USB cable provided with the scanner. |
Yes |
Is a hub(s) used for the USB connection? |
No

When connecting to a USB hub, use the first stage hub. If the symptom persists, connect the scanner directly to the PC. |

POWER ON the scanner again. |
If the normal functioning state does not recover when turning on the scanner again, please contact the dealer where you purchased the scanner or an authorized FUJITSU scanner service provider and inform the agent of the error message number displayed in the Error Recovery Guide window.
