If interface malfunctions occur frequently, check the following points and take measures accordingly.
| Is the interface cable (USB) connected properly? | No

Connect the interface cable properly.
If the connector pin is damaged, replace the cable. |
| Are you using the USB cable that was supplied with the scanner? | No
|
Use the supplied USB cable. |
| Are you using a USB hub? | YES
|
If more than one hub is used, connect the scanner to the hub that is connected directly to the computer. If the problem persists, connect the scanner directly to the computer. |
| Turn the scanner off then back on. |
If the problem persists, write down the error code displayed in the Error Recovery Guide window, and contact your FUJITSU scanner dealer or an authorized FUJITSU scanner service provider.
