ScanSnap Manager for Mac Update (V6.3L32)

Note for ScanSnap S1300i users:
When using ScanSnap Manager for Mac version 3, install the update for version 3(OS X v10.10~v10.7, OS X v10.6~v10.5).

Modifications

From V6.3L31 to V6.3L32

• A new option has been added so that files can be saved to Photos.
• Modified the error that occurs when you run [Searchable PDF Converter].
• Modified the error where PDF file merging is not successful by Page Merger.
• Page Merger is supported on PDF version 1.4.

From V6.3L28 to V6.3L32

• A new option has been added so that files can be saved to Photos.
• Page Merger is supported on PDF version 1.4.
• Improved the connectivity in wireless LANs. (iX100 only)

If you are using ScanSnap Manager for Mac which version is earlier than V6.2L22, install ScanSnap Manager for Mac V6.2L22 before applying this update.

Download the software update to your hard disk by clicking the "Download" link below.

Apply this update to install the latest version of ScanSnap Manager for Mac.

Installation Procedures

Note:
If you perform the update online, the following procedure will not be necessary. Follow the instructions on the online update screen.

How to update

1. Be sure you log into Mac OS X / OS X as a user with administrator privileges.
2. Download "MacScanSnapV63L32UpWW.dmg" onto your hard drive.
   Make sure you have enough free disk space (at least more than twice the download file size) for installing the programs.
3. Quit any applications that are running on your computer.
4. Execute the downloaded "MacScanSnapV63L32UpWW.dmg" file to start the update installation.
5. Execute "MacScanSnapV63L32UpWW.pkg" that is deployed from the .dmg file to start the update installation.
6. Follow the instructions from the Installation Wizard to complete the installation. Select [Open] when the message "xxxxx is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" appears during installation.

Now that you have completed the update, please refer to the  Readme file prior to use.
