ScanSnap Manager for Mac Update (V6.3L41)

Note for ScanSnap S1300i users:
When using ScanSnap Manager for Mac version 3, install the update for version 3 (OS X v10.11 ~ Mac OS X v10.5).

If you are using ScanSnap Manager for Mac which version is earlier than V6.2L22, install ScanSnap Manager for Mac V6.2L22 before applying this update.

Apply this update to install the latest version of ScanSnap Manager for Mac.

Installation Procedures

Note:
If you perform the update online, the following procedure will not be necessary. Follow the instructions on the online update screen.

How to update

  1. Be sure you log into Mac OS X / OS X as a user with administrator privileges.
  2. Download "MacScanSnapV63L41UpWW.dmg" onto your hard drive.
    Make sure you have enough free disk space (at least more than twice the download file size) for installing the programs.
  3. Quit any applications that are running on your computer.
  4. Execute the downloaded "MacScanSnapV63L41UpWW.dmg" file to start the update installation.
  5. Execute "MacScanSnapV63L41UpWW.pkg" that is deployed from the .dmg file to start the update installation.
  6. Follow the instructions from the Installation Wizard to complete the installation. Select [Open] when the message "xxxxx is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" appears during installation.
