Unsure What to Prepare before Setup
A ScanSnap model
Memo paper and a pen
During setup, you need to write down the information about the ScanSnap, which you use to establish a network connection.
A wireless access point with an Internet connection
Check the SSID and the encryption key for the wireless access point beforehand.
Depending on the wireless access point, the privacy separator function of the wireless access point may be enabled. If so, disable the function.
If there are two types of SSID at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, use the 2.4 GHz SSID.
SSID at 5 GHz and a public wireless access point cannot be used.
A ScanSnap account or a valid e-mail address
Use a ScanSnap account to set up the ScanSnap Cloud service.
If you do not obtain a ScanSnap account, prepare an e-mail address to be used as a ScanSnap account.
A cloud storage service account to save images
Obtain a cloud storage service account to save images.
ATTENTIONDepending on the cloud storage service to be used, the setup may not be completed if you obtain just the account. Log in to the cloud storage service first on an application supported by the cloud storage service or a web browser.
A USB cable
