The Image Is Not Saved in a Cloud Storage Service.
- Cause
-
The issue may be caused by the following:
An error occurred during a scan.
Although a scan is complete, the image has not been saved.
An image is saved in a different cloud storage service because a document type was not detected correctly.
- Solution
-
Start up the ScanSnap Cloud application and check the scan history list. In the scan history list, you can check the scan status, the save status of an image, whether an error occurred or not, and the storage destination of an image.
-
When a scan error is shown in the scan history list
Follow the message to solve the problem.
HINTBy clicking the [Retry] button, you can save the image to the same cloud storage service.
-
When the [Processing] message is shown in the scan history list
It may take a long time for the image to be saved in a cloud storage service after scanning is finished. Wait until a message indicating that the image is being processed disappears and then check the save status from a cloud storage service.
HINTThe time taken to save the image in a cloud storage service may be reduced by disabling the setting for creating a searchable PDF file or by setting the same language as the one used for the document.
Perform the following procedure to change the setting:
On the menu bar, click [Tool] → [Options].
Click the [Scan settings] tab.
Select a document type and click the [Details] button for the file format.
Clear the [Convert to Searchable PDF] checkbox. Or, for [Target language], set the same language as the one used for the document instead of setting [Auto].
-
When neither an error nor a message indicating that an image is being processed is shown in the scan history list
Check if the image is saved in a different cloud storage service.
For the following documents, the document type may not be detected correctly.
A colored receipt that is close to a business card in size
A business card that is in portrait orientation and has text in a horizontal direction, such as a receipt
If the image is saved in a different cloud storage service, perform the following:
-
In the scan history list, select a scan history of an image that you want to transfer to another cloud storage service.
The image is previewed.
-
Click
.
A screen to change a storage destination for an image appears.
HINTYou can also show a window to change a storage destination for an image by clicking [Save to another service] in a menu that appears when you right-click the scan history.
-
Select a cloud storage service that you want to transfer the image to.
Click the [Save] button.
The image is transferred to the selected cloud storage service.
