Changing the Wireless Access Point Set for the ScanSnap

To change the wireless access point set for the ScanSnap, re-register the ScanSnap in ScanSnap Home by the following procedure.

  1. Change the wireless access point to which the mobile device is connected to the wireless access point which is set for the ScanSnap.
  2. Tap Hamburger Menu [Scanner] in ScanSnap Home to display the [Scanner] screen.
  3. Tap [Scanner setup].
  4. Tap [Configure the Wi-Fi settings for the ScanSnap] to display the [Select your scanner model.] screen.
  5. Select the ScanSnap model.
  6. Connect the ScanSnap by following the instructions on the screen.

    If the "Turn on the ScanSnap." message is displayed while you are operating the ScanSnap, hold down the [Scan/Stop] button and open the feed guide to turn the power on.

    At this point, press the [Scan/Stop] button for more than 3 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator flashes in green.

    The Wi-Fi indicator will light up in orange.

    Continue operating the ScanSnap while following the instructions on the screen.

The ScanSnap will be connected to the wireless access point to which the mobile device is connected.
