Inserting a Booklet (with the Booklet Carrier Sheet)
The optional Booklet Carrier Sheet enables you to scan a booklet without damaging it.
Insert a booklet into the ScanSnap using the Booklet Carrier Sheet.
ATTENTION
The optional Booklet Carrier Sheet is available for Return Scan, in which a document is inserted into the manual feeder and scanned.
- Face the front side of the Booklet Carrier Sheet upwards. Then, open the booklet to display the pages to be scanned and place it inside the Booklet Carrier Sheet so that it is against the top edge.
- Insert the part with the black and white pattern of the Booklet Carrier Sheet straight into the manual feeder of the ScanSnap.
Make sure that the Booklet Carrier Sheet is fed into the ScanSnap and is held firmly.
ATTENTIONWhen the Booklet Carrier Sheet is scanned with Return Scan, it sticks out from the back of the ScanSnap. Leave enough space at the back of the ScanSnap to allow the Booklet Carrier Sheet to stick out.
