Authenticating a Connection to a Wireless Access Point (Client Certificates/CA Certificates/User ID/External ID)
To connect the ScanSnap to a wireless access point, authenticate a connection to the wireless access point using one of the following:
A certificate (client certificate or CA certificate) already registered on the ScanSnap
User ID and password for authentication
External ID for authentication
- On the touch panel of the ScanSnap, display the [Enter connection information] screen.

in the home screen on the touch panel to display the [Settings] screen. - Press
in the home screen on the touch panel to display the [Settings] screen. - Press [Wireless settings] to display the [Wireless settings] screen.

to display the [Wi-Fi settings] screen. - Press [Wireless access point/router setting] to display the [Wireless access point/router setting] screen. Press [Access point connection] to display the [Access point connection] screen.
- Press [Select network] to display the [Select network] screen.
- Press [Access point connect settings] to display the [Connection information configuration method] screen.
- Select [Select an access point].
- Press the [Next] button to display the [Select network] screen.
- From the list of displayed wireless access points, select a wireless access point that you want to connect to.
- Press the [Next] button to display the [Enter connection information] screen.

When the authentication is complete, the ScanSnap is connected to the wireless access point.
