When an IP address is set for the ScanSnap, the setting for using a DNS server can be configured on the ScanSnap.
Also, when the access point connection is selected for the Wi-Fi connect mode, you can connect the ScanSnap to the Internet via a proxy server.

in the home screen on the touch panel of the ScanSnap to display the [Settings] screen. Press

Press [Wireless access point/router setting] to display the [Wireless access point/router setting] screen. Press [Access point connection] to display the [Access point connection] screen.

- When configuring a DNS server

Press [DNS Server] to display the [DNS Server] screen.
[DNS Server] is enabled when [Configure IP address manually] is selected in [IP address].
Turn on [Use of DNS Server].
Press the input field for [Primary DNS], enter the IP address of the primary DNS server, and then press [OK].
Press the input field for [Secondary DNS], enter the IP address of the secondary DNS server, and then press [OK].
- When configuring a proxy server

Press [Proxy Server] to display the [Proxy Server] screen.
Turn on [Use of Proxy Server].
Press the input field for [Host Name/IP address], enter the host name or the IP address, and press [OK].
Press the input field for [Port Number], enter the port number, and press [OK].
When the proxy server requires authentication, turn on [Authentication] and perform the following operations.
Press the input field for [User name], enter the user name and press [OK].
Press the input field for [Password], enter the password, and press [OK].
