Checking the IP address/DNS Server/MAC Address of the ScanSnap
Check the IP address, DNS server, or MAC address of the ScanSnap on the touch panel.

Press
in the home screen on the touch panel of the ScanSnap to display the [Settings] screen. Press

Press [Wireless settings] to display the [Wireless settings] screen. Press
to display the [Wi-Fi settings] screen.
- Check the wireless settings.
- To check the IP address or DNS server

Check that the name of a network which is currently connected, is displayed in [Wireless access point/router setting]
If [Wireless access point/router setting] is disabled or if a network name is not displayed, refer to Connecting the ScanSnap and the Computer Via a Wireless Access Point and connect the ScanSnap to a wireless access point.
Check that the name of a network which is currently connected, is displayed in [Access point connection]
If [Access point connection] is disabled or if a network name is not displayed, refer to Connecting the ScanSnap and the Computer Via a Wireless Access Point and connect the ScanSnap to a wireless access point.
- To check the MAC address

Check that [Connection settings] is set to [Access point connection].
If [Connection settings] is set to [Wi-Fi off], press [Connection settings] and set it to [Access point connection].
Check that [Wi-Fi connect mode] is set to [Access point connection] or [Direct connection].
If [Wi-Fi connect mode] is set to [Wi-Fi off], press [Wi-Fi connect mode] and set it to [Access point connection] or [Direct connection]
- Press [Wi-Fi information] to display the [ScanSnap information] screen.
- Check the IP address, DNS server, or MAC address in the [Network] tab.
