The upgraded PaperStream Capture and PaperStream Capture Pro now feature a new Easy Setup mode, offering a user-friendly display and simplified operations. In this mode, users can harness the software's powerful features for organizing scanned data, extracting information, and performing various other operations. Customers who are not familiar with fi Series scanners can easily configure the scan settings to suit their specific purposes and initiate scanning without any hassle.

We have also enhanced the user interface of the current mode in response to feedback from our valued customers. Moreover, we have further enhanced a range of functions essential for centralized scanning tasks, commonly employed in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. These enhancements aim to deliver an even more streamlined scanning workflow.

1. Effortless creation of scan settings for streamlined data preservation

Introducing the Easy Setup mode for customized scan settings

In the new Easy Setup mode, you have the choice of three options: Save Documents, Sort Documents, or Data Extraction. You can effortlessly create a job by selecting an option that suits your purpose and configure the settings according to the displayed instructions. This mode enables individuals with limited scanner expertise to easily configure scan settings and seamlessly utilize the software immediately after deploying the scanner.

Organize image data effortlessly with Sort Documents

To organize scanned images of delivery slips into folders according to clients’ names using barcodes, simply select the Sort Documents option to create a job. The option divides a file and automatically organizes scanned images into folders. This option facilitates the management of batch-scanned images, easing the operational load linked to the manual organization of image data following the scanning process.

Improved search with Data Extraction

Create a job with the Data Extraction option when you want to utilize extracted data. For instance, file names can be generated using extracted invoice or order numbers from scanned images. Searching through scanned data is also made easier by extracting and utilizing text located at the specified positions and barcodes.
