Performing a Particular Action on Content Data Records Managed in ScanSnap Home by Using an Application Linked with ScanSnap Home
You can add up to 10 applications of your choice to associate with the scanned images and content information in content data records that are managed in ScanSnap Home.
The added applications will also be displayed in the following:
- Display the Scan Window of ScanSnap Home on the computer.
- Add an application that you want to use in order to perform a particular action, in ScanSnap Home.
- Select [Preferences] in the menu that appears when you click
at the top of the scan window to display the preferences window.
- Click the [Add or Remove] button in [Application list] in the [Application] tab to display the [Application settings] window.
- Click the [Add] button to display the [Application settings] window.
- Click the [Browse] button in [Application path] to display the [Select application] window.
- Select the executable file (*.exe) for an application to be added and click the [Open] button.
- Specify [Display name] for the application to be added.
- In [Available file format], set a file format that you want the selected application to run in.
- Click the [OK] button to close the [Application settings] window and the [Application settings] window.
- Click the [OK] button to close the preferences window.

Select [Open ScanSnap Home] in the menu that appears when you click
at the top of the scan window to display the Main Window.
- In the content data record list view, select the content data record that you want to perform an action on by using an application.
- From the menu that appears when you right-click the content data record, click [Send to] and select the application that you added in step 2.
The scanned images or content information in the content data record managed in ScanSnap Home are displayed in the application that you added or are imported to the application as data.
