Transferring/Copying/Retitling/Deleting a Content Data Record
Transfer a content data record managed with ScanSnap Home to another folder, as well as copy, retitle, or delete it.
Windows
- Display the Scan Window of ScanSnap Home on the computer.

Select [Open ScanSnap Home] in the menu that appears when you click
at the top of the scan window to display the Main Window.
- Transfer, copy, retitle, or delete a content data record.
- To transfer a content data record

In the Content Data Record List View, select a content data record to be transferred.
Drag and drop the selected content data record to the destination folder in the folder list view.
The selected content data record is transferred to the folder which you dragged and dropped it to.
- To copy a content data record

In the Content Data Record List View, select a content data record to be copied.
While holding down the [Ctrl] key on the keyboard, drag and drop the selected content data record to the destination folder in the folder list view.
The selected content data record is copied in the folder which you dragged and dropped it to.
- To retitle a content data record

Among the buttons for switching the view mode for the content data record list view on the tool bar, select
to switch the view mode for the content data record list view to the summary list.
In the Content Data Record List View, select a content data record for which you want to change the title.
Select [Rename] in the menu that appears when you right-click the content data record.
Enter a title for the content data record and then press the [Enter] key on the keyboard.
The title for the content data record is changed.

- To delete a content data record

ATTENTION
If you delete a content data record located in a network folder, the content data record is not moved to [Recycle Bin] but is deleted completely.
In the Content Data Record List View, select a content data record to be deleted.
Select [Move to Recycle Bin] or [Delete] in the menu that appears when you right-click the content data record.
If a confirmation message is displayed, read it then click the [Yes] button.
The selected content data record is deleted from the content data record list view and moved to [Recycle Bin].
TIP-
To restore or completely delete content data records that were moved to [Recycle Bin], follow the procedure below.
Select the [Recycle Bin] folder in the folder list view.
In the content data record list view, select the content data record to be restored or deleted.
Select [Restore data] or [Delete] in the menu that appears when you right-click the content data record.
macOS
- Display the Scan Window of ScanSnap Home on the computer.

In the Content Data Record List View, select a content data record to be transferred.

In the Content Data Record List View, select a content data record to be copied.

] key on the keyboard, drag and drop the selected content data record to the destination folder in the folder list view.

- To retitle a content data record

Among the buttons for switching the view mode for the content data record list view on the tool bar, select

In the Content Data Record List View, select a content data record for which you want to change the title.
Click the content data record while pressing the [control] key on the keyboard, and select [Change the title] from the menu that appears.
Enter a new folder name and then press the [Return] key on the keyboard.
The title for the content data record is changed.

- To delete a content data record

ATTENTION
If you delete a content data record located in a network folder, the content data record is not moved to [Trash] but is deleted completely.
In the Content Data Record List View, select a content data record to be deleted.
Click the content data record while pressing the [control] key, and select [Move to Trash] or [Delete] from the menu that appears.
If a confirmation message is displayed, read it then click the [Delete] button.
The selected content data record is deleted from the content data record list view and moved to [Trash].
TIP-
To restore or completely delete content data records that were moved to [Trash], follow the procedure below.
Select the [Trash] folder in the folder list view.
In the content data record list view, select the content data record to be restored or deleted.
Click the content data record while pressing the [control] key, and select [Restore data] or [Delete] from the menu that appears.
