[Word options] Window/[Excel options] Window/[PowerPoint options] Window
When saving scanned images in Word (*.docx), Excel (*.xlsx), or PowerPoint (*.pptx) format, you can configure settings such as the number of sheets to save in each file and the language in which the text is recognized.
The option window appears when you click the [Option] button for [Scan settings] in the [Add new profile] window or the [Edit profiles] window.

- Create a single file from all sheets
Images of all scanned sheets are saved as a single Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file.
- Create a file per number of specified sheets
Images of scanned sheets are saved as a single Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file for each specified number of sheets.
Specify the number of sheets from 1 to 999.
Regardless of the setting for splitting by the number of sheets, the maximum number of pages in a file is 1,000.

- [Save the PDF file before conversion] checkbox
Select this checkbox to also save the PDF file before converting it to Word (*.docx), Excel (*.xlsx), or PowerPoint (*.pptx) format.
- [Open destination folder] button
When the [Save the PDF file before conversion] checkbox is selected, the destination folder for the PDF file that is saved before conversion to Word (*.docx), Excel (*.xlsx), or PowerPoint (*.pptx) format is displayed.

Specify a language of the text to be recognized.

- [Keep line breaks] checkbox
Select this so that the recognized text starts on a new line at the same position as the text in the image.
- [Keep text color] checkbox
Select this to preserve the colors of the text in the image.
- [Highlight low-confidence characters] checkbox
Select this to highlight low-confidence characters in the recognized text when opening the converted Word file in Word.
- [Keep pictures in saved document] checkbox

Select this to preserve photos and figures included in scanned images as images in the converted files.
- Image quality

Specify the image quality for images in files converted from scanned images.
High (for printing)
Preserves the same level of image quality as that of scanned images.
Medium (for screen reading)
Reduces file size while keeping the image quality at a reasonable level.
Low (for sharing)
Reduces file size. However, image quality will be reduced.

Select this to convert only tables into Excel files.
