Disabling the Privacy Separator Function of the Wireless Access Point

To use the ScanSnap, you need to register the ScanSnap that you want to use to ScanSnap Home.

To register the ScanSnap to ScanSnap Home, disable the privacy separator function of the wireless access point. If it is enabled, the ScanSnap cannot be registered.

If you cannot disable the function, connect the ScanSnap to a computer with a USB cable and use ScanSnap Home on the computer.

Checking the Settings

To check the wireless access point settings, use a web browser or the dedicated software.

When the privacy separator function is enabled, change the settings to disable the function.
