A Message Is Displayed, Indicating that the Procedure Entry Point Cannot Be Found (Windows)
If a message indicating that the procedure entry point cannot be found is displayed when the ScanSnap is started up or when the computer is restarted, check the following:
The files required to run ScanSnap Home may not have been installed properly
Display the [Program and Features] window, and check whether the programs below have been installed.
Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86) - 12.X.XXXXX
Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x86) - 14.X.XXXXX
[X.XXXXX] indicates the version number.
If the programs have not been installed
Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86) and Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x86).

If the programs have been installed
Perform the following to recovery the programs.
In the [Program and Features] window, select the installed programs that have already been checked, and click [Change].
Click [Repair].
Perform a recovery on all installed programs that have been confirmed that have already been checked.
If the problem still persists, uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86) - 12.X.XXXXX and Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x86) - 14.X.XXXXX, and install them again.
