An issue in importing image data has been verified when creating key text blocks by OCR in Rack2-Filer V5.0. Please apply the following Correction Patch to correct this issue.

Exclusive Summary

<Issue>

An issue in importing image data has been verified when creating key text blocks by OCR in Rack2-Filer V5.0, where the imported page was replaced by another page.

<Conditions for Occurrence>

  1. 1) OS
    • Windows Vista®
    • Windows® 7
  2. 2) Operations
    • The above issue occurs when either of the following operations is performed.
      • * Launch Rack2-Viewer, and then create key text blocks by selecting multiple pages
      • * Go to [General] of Rack2-Viewer --> Click the [Page Insertion] tab --> Enable [Automatically create key text blocks for inserted pages (by OCR/extraction)] --> Open either [WorkArea] or [Rack2-Viewer] --> Import the text data from the scanner (Note), or import the image data file from the computer
      • * Import the image data file by Rack2 Folder Monitor Software

Note:
This issue does not occur when you enable "Searchable PDF (OCRs during scan)" in the [File Option] tab and specify [All pages] in "arget pages" in the ScanSnap Manager settings.
