An Image Cannot Be Converted into a Searchable PDF file

Causes and solutions for an image that is scanned not being converted into a searchable PDF file when the ScanSnap Cloud service is used are explained below.
Cause

The scan settings are not configured to create searchable PDF files.

Solution

Perform the following to change the scan settings:

  1. Tap [File format] in the [Scan settings] screen.

  2. Set [Convert to Searchable PDF] to on.
