Exporting Business Card Data or Receipt Data
Items in [Business card information] or [Receipt information] that are displayed in the content data record view of the main window for ScanSnap Home can be exported as a file of business card data or receipt data.
The exported file can be used with other applications.
- Display the Scan Window of ScanSnap Home on the computer.

Select [Open ScanSnap Home] in the menu that appears when you click
at the top of the scan window to display the Main Window.
- Export business card data or receipt data as a file from a content data record.
- When exporting business card data

TIP
When CSV, text, or vCard is specified for the file format in which business card data is exported, if data with text that is not supported by the operating system is exported, the text may not be displayed correctly.
Example: German text displayed in a Japanese operating system
When ContactXML is specified for the file format in which business card data is exported, the xml:lang attribute is set according to the language of the operating system.
In the Content Data Record List View, select a content data record with business card data that you want to export.
In the menu that appears when you right-click the content data record, click [Output the file] → [Output business card information] and select a file format for outputting the business card data.
Save the business card data in the [Save business card information] window.
The business card data is exported in the specified file format.
- When exporting receipt data

In the Content Data Record List View, select a content data record with receipt data that you want to export.
In the menu that appears when you right-click the content data record, select [Output the file] → [Output receipt information] → [CSV format (*.csv)].
Save the receipt data in the [Save receipt information] window.
The receipt data is exported in the specified file format.
TIP
When a new item is added to the content information, it will be added to the end of the information in a CSV file format without the order of existing items being changed. When using the CSV file in other applications, take appropriate measures so that new items do not cause any problems.

In the menu that appears when you click the content data record while pressing the [control] key on the keyboard, click [Export] → [Output receipt information] and select a file format for outputting the receipt data.
Save the receipt data in the [Save receipt information] window.
The receipt data is exported in the specified file format.
TIP
