HINT
  • When using NAS or a network storage that is only compatible with SMB 1.0/CIFS, enable SMB 1.0/CIFS on the ScanSnap.

However, it is recommended that SMB 1.0/CIFS is disabled due to a serious security vulnerability. Use SMB 1.0/CIFS at your own risk.

For details about the procedure for enabling this setting on the ScanSnap, refer to the following:

    1. Press Settings in the home screen on the touch panel of the ScanSnap to display the [Settings] screen.

    2. Press Wi-Fi Settings to display the [Wi-Fi settings] screen.

    3. Press [Scan to Network Folder] to display the [Scan to Network Folder] screen.

    4. Press [SMB 1.0/CIFS], then enable the setting on the displayed screen.
