Deleting Unnecessary Scanned Images

After scanning a document, delete the unnecessary crop frame around the scanned image.

  1. Scan a document.

    For details about how to scan a document, refer to How to Scan Documents.

  2. In the [ScanSnap Home - Image scanning and file saving] window of ScanSnap Home, select [Crop and save flat document images as-is], and then click the [Check/Correct] button.
  3. Select a scanned image to delete a crop frame in [Cropped image] in the [ScanSnap Home - View cropped images] window.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Click the [Yes] button in the confirmation message window.
  6. Click the [Save and Exit] button.
    HINT
    • If the [Next] button is displayed, clear the [Continue with Point Retouch] checkbox. The [Next] button changes to the [Save and Exit] button.

Only the scanned images that are necessary are saved.

  1. Scan a document.

  2. In the [ScanSnap Home - Image scanning and file saving] window of ScanSnap Home, select [Flat document], and then click the [Check/Correct] button.
  3. Select a scanned image to delete a crop frame in the list of cropped images in the [ScanSnap Home - View cropped images] window.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Click the [Yes] button in the confirmation message window.
  6. Click the [Save and Exit] button.
    HINT
    • If the [Next] button is displayed, clear the [Continue with Point Retouch] checkbox. The [Next] button changes to the [Save and Exit] button.

Only the scanned images that are necessary are saved.
