[Title options] Window
The [Title options] window appears when you click the [Option] button in the [Title] tab in the [Detailed settings] window that you can display from the [Add new profile] window or the [Edit profiles] window.
When the document type is [Business Cards] or [Receipts], you can specify items that you want to extract from a document to be used as a title and also specify a title format.
This section explains the setting items which are available when a local folder or network folder is the save destination for scanned images. One of the local folders is a folder that is synchronized with a cloud service.
- Extracting items for the title
The items displayed in [Selected] are extracted for the title.
You can drag and drop the items in the [Selected] list to change the order of the items.
ATTENTIONIf the selected items to be extracted contain the following symbols in their values, those symbols are replaced with "_" when they are extracted for the file name of an image.
\/:?*"<>|
If the selected items to be extracted contain the following symbols in their values, those symbols are deleted when they are extracted for the title of the content data record or the file name of an image.
\/:?*"<>|
HINTIf the document does not contain the items selected as [Extracting items for the title] or the extraction failed, the names of those items are displayed with parentheses "( )".
Example: (Company)_(Name), (Date on a receipt)_(Vendor)
When scanning receipts/invoices with the ScanSnap iX1600 Receipt Edition, among the items selected as [Extracting items for the title], only those used for the detected document type will be extracted for the title.
If no items selected for [Extracting items for the title] are used for the detected document type, the scanned date will be extracted for the title.
- Format customize
You can change the title format. The items cannot be changed.
You can use a symbol that is displayed in [Available delimiters] as a delimiter for the title with multiple extracted items.
Note that a delimiter cannot be used consecutively or specified to be at the beginning or the end of the title.
