A Message Is Displayed, Indicating That You Cannot Sign In with the ScanSnap That You Are Currently Using (ScanSnap Home 2.9 or Earlier)

    To update ScanSnap Home to the latest, refer to To Update the Software.

When you sign in to ScanSnap Home with a ScanSnap account, if a message is displayed, indicating that you cannot sign in with the ScanSnap that you are currently using, check the following.

Did you repeatedly sign in and out without a ScanSnap account? (When you are in a region where ScanSnap accounts are available)

If you repeatedly sign in and sign out or deactivate a license without a ScanSnap account multiple times for a certain period of time, you will not be able to sign in.

Perform one of the following:

  • Signing in with a ScanSnap account

    Sign in with a ScanSnap account.

    ScanSnap accounts can be registered in the following procedure.

    1. Click [If an account is not registered, click Here] in the preferences window to display the ScanSnap account registration page.

    2. Click the [ScanSnap account registration] button.

      Follow the instructions on the window to register a ScanSnap account.

    3. Sign in by entering a registered ScanSnap account e-mail address and a password in the fields under [Sign in with a ScanSnap account. (recommended)] on the preferences window.

    1. Click [If an account is not registered, click Here] in the preferences window to display the ScanSnap account registration page.

    2. Click the [ScanSnap account registration] button.

      Follow the instructions on the window to register a ScanSnap account.

    3. Sign in by entering a registered ScanSnap account e-mail address and a password in the fields under [Sign in with a ScanSnap account (Recommended)] on the preferences window.

     

  • Signing in without a ScanSnap account

    If you sign in without a ScanSnap account, refer to Inquiries Regarding Problems with ScanSnap Home and contact the distributor/dealer where you purchased this product.

Did you repeatedly sign in and out on the preference window? (When you are in a region where ScanSnap accounts are not available)

If you repeatedly sign in and sign out or deactivate a license multiple times for a certain period of time, you will not be able to sign in.
