The [Scan] Button and the Wi-Fi Indicator Do Not Light Up in Purple
When performing a scan with the ScanSnap by using a profile that is linked with a cloud service, if the [Scan] button and the Wi-Fi indicator do not light up in purple, check the following:
Is the ScanSnap connected to the computer via a USB cable?
Disconnect the USB cable.
Have you changed the connection status of the ScanSnap to Cloud mode?
Change the connection status of the ScanSnap to Cloud mode in the following procedure and check if the problem is solved.

Click the [Scan] button at the top of the main window of ScanSnap Home to display the scan window.
If the main window is not already displayed, refer to To Display the Main Window.

Click which is displayed on the right of the scanner name to change the connection status to Cloud mode.

Click the [Scan] button at the top of the main window of ScanSnap Home to display the scan window.
If the main window is not already displayed, click the [ScanSnap Home] icon in the application list that appears when you click Launchpad in the Dock.

Is the ScanSnap connected to the mobile device via Wi-Fi?
If an application used to connect to the ScanSnap (such as ScanSnap Connect Application or ScanSnap Home for iOS/Android) is running on a mobile device, exit the application before connecting the ScanSnap to the computer.
If ScanSnap Connect Application is running on a mobile device, exit the application before connecting the ScanSnap to the computer.
The ScanSnap may not be connected to the wireless access point correctly.
In the following procedure, reset the ScanSnap Wi-Fi settings, and after configuring the Wi-Fi settings again, check that the [Scan] button and the Wi-Fi indicator light up in purple.

Connecting the ScanSnap to a network that can be connected to the Internet is necessary.

If the problem still persists, register the ScanSnap to ScanSnap Cloud by using the ScanSnap Cloud application which is installed on a mobile device.
