A "No save destination was found." Message Is Displayed on the Touch Panel
When a "No save destination was found." message is displayed on the touch panel of the ScanSnap, refer to the subsequent message and take appropriate measures.
When a "A network connection error occurred." message is displayed

Check the following:
Is the ScanSnap connected to the network?
Check the following:
Are there no problems with the status and settings of your network environment?
Is the wireless access point turned on?
After checking the above, close the ADF paper chute (cover) to turn off the ScanSnap, open the ADF paper chute (cover) to turn it back on, then check if the problem is solved.
Are the server specified as the save destination and the ScanSnap connected to the same wireless access point?
The server specified as the save destination and the ScanSnap must be connected to the same wireless access point.
If the ScanSnap is connected to a different wireless access point from that of the server, refer to Reconnecting the ScanSnap to Another Wireless Access Point and change the wireless access point that the ScanSnap is connected to.
Is the file-sharing service (SMB) for the server specified as the save destination enabled?
If the file-sharing service (SMB) is disabled, enable it.
Is the user account for connecting to the network folder specified as the save destination locked?
If your account is locked, unlock it.
Does the server specified as the save destination have enough free disk space?
Has the correct server been specified as the save destination?
Is the server specified as the save destination turned on?
Are there any abnormalities in the network status of the save destination?
If necessary, re-specify the network folder of the save destination by the following procedure:

Click the [Scan] button at the top of the main window of ScanSnap Home to display the scan window.
If the main window is not already displayed, refer to To Display the Main Window.
Select the profile that you are using from the profile list.
Click
to display the [Edit profiles] window.
Click the [Browse] button for [Save to] under [Managing options], then specify the network folder where scanned images are to be saved.
Click the [Save] button.
If the [Enter the network credentials] window appears, set the user name, password, and domain for connecting to the network folder.

Click the [Scan] button at the top of the main window of ScanSnap Home to display the scan window.
If the main window is not already displayed, click the [ScanSnap Home] icon
in the application list that appears when you click Launchpad in the Dock.
Select the profile that you are using from the profile list.
Click
to display the [Edit profiles] window.
Click the [Browse] button for [Save to] under [Managing options], then specify the network folder where scanned images are to be saved.
Click the [Save] button.
If the [Enter the network credentials] window appears, set the user name, password, and domain for connecting to the network folder.
HINTWhen the IP address of the save destination server is automatically obtained from a DHCP server, changing the settings to use a fixed IP address for the destination server will reduce problems related to server connections.

Check the following:
Has the correct server been specified as the save destination?
If necessary, re-specify the network folder of the save destination by the following procedure:

Select the profile that you are using from the profile list.

Are the correct DNS servers configured for the ScanSnap?
Refer to Checking a DNS Server of the ScanSnap, check whether the correct DNS servers are configured for the ScanSnap, and re-specify the servers if necessary.
Are there any abnormalities in the network status of the save destination?
Make sure that there are no errors in the network status of the save destination, then try again.
Are the DNS servers running?
Make sure that the DNS servers are running properly.
