The Image Is Displayed Sideways or Upside Down
When you perform a scan with the ScanSnap, if the scanned image is displayed sideways or upside down, check the following:
Have you selected [Automatic] or [Automatic (by face detection)] for [Rotation] in the scan settings?
When the document type is [Documents], [Business Cards], or [Receipts], if [Automatic] has been selected for [Rotation] in the scan settings, scanned images are rotated automatically based on the character strings in a document.
When the document type is [Photos], if [Automatic (by face detection)] has been selected for [Rotation] in the scan settings, scanned images are rotated automatically in accordance with the way the face of a person in a photo is orientated.
If you want to scan documents without thinking about the way a document is rotated, select [Automatic] or [Automatic (by face detection)] for [Rotation] in the following procedure.
