Configuring the Wi-Fi Settings
Use ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool to configure the Wi-Fi settings for the ScanSnap.
With the ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool, you can set the following:
Connecting the ScanSnap to a wireless access point
Setting an IP address and scanner name for the ScanSnap
Setting an IP address, scanner name, and password for the ScanSnap
Configuring the settings required for connecting the ScanSnap to a computer
Checking the connection between the ScanSnap and a computer or mobile device
Diagnosing the communication status between the ScanSnap and a wireless access point
Checking network information such as network name (SSID) and MAC address
Initializing the Wi-Fi settings
Registering the computer to which the ScanSnap will be connected via Wi-Fi
Obtaining the computer's Wi-Fi settings and configuring them for the ScanSnap
Configuring a DNS server
Configuring a proxy server
Configuring the Wi-Fi settings so that Direct Connect mode is used
Changing the wireless mode
Enabling roaming
Configuring the frequency of the connection
Registering multiple destinations
Registering a client certificate or CA certificate

The ScanSnap cannot be connected with two or more computers or mobile devices at the same time.
If there are two types of SSID (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) for a wireless access point, use the 2.4 GHz SSID.
