Searching for Content Data Records by Specifying Search Options

Search for content data records that are managed with ScanSnap Home by specifying search options, such as the title, date, tag, and document type.

  1. Display the Main Window of ScanSnap Home.

    For details, refer to To Display the Main Window.

  2. Select a folder in which you search for content data records in the folder list view.

    To search all content data records that are managed with ScanSnap Home, select the [PC] folder.

    Note that the [Recycle Bin] folder is excluded from the search. To search content data records in the [Recycle Bin] folder, select the [Recycle Bin] folder.

  3. Select a search option from the list that appears when you click Search on the toolbar.
  4. Enter a keyword in the search key that is displayed.

    When [Date] is selected for a search option, specify a type of date and a period to search in.

  5. Press the [Enter] key on the keyboard.

    To specify multiple search options, repeat the procedure from steps 3 to 5.

The content data records found by using the search key are displayed in the content data record list view.

  1. Display the Main Window of ScanSnap Home.

    Click the [ScanSnap Home] icon ScanSnap Home Icon in the application list that appears when you click Launchpad in the Dock.

  2. Select a folder in which you search for content data records in the folder list view.

    To search all content data records that are managed with ScanSnap Home, select the [Mac] folder.

    Note that the [Trash] folder is excluded from the search. To search content data records in the [Trash] folder, select the [Trash] folder.

  3. Select a search option from the list that appears when you click Search on the toolbar.
  4. Enter a keyword in the search key that is displayed.

    When [Date] is selected for a search option, specify a type of date and a period to search in.

  5. Press the [Return] key on the keyboard.

The content data records found by using the search key are displayed in the content data record list view.
