Searching for Content Data Records with Keywords

Enter a keyword in the search bar to search for content data records that are managed with ScanSnap Home.

  1. Display the Main Window of ScanSnap Home.

    For details, refer to To Display the Main Window.

  2. Select a folder in which you search for content data records in the folder list view.

    To search all content data records that are managed with ScanSnap Home, select the [PC] folder.

    Note that the [Recycle Bin] folder is excluded from the search. To search content data records in the [Recycle Bin] folder, select the [Recycle Bin] folder.

  3. In the toolbar, enter the keywords in the search bar with Search.
    HINT
    • When you enter multiple keywords with a space between each word, you can search for content data records that include all the keywords you listed.

    • When a list of past searches and keyword suggestions appear by entering a character string in the search bar, you can select a keyword from the list and search for content data records.

  4. Press the [Enter] key on the keyboard.

The content data records that you search for with the keyword are displayed in the Content Data Record List View.

  1. Display the Main Window of ScanSnap Home.

    Click the [ScanSnap Home] icon ScanSnap Home Icon in the application list that appears when you click Launchpad in the Dock.

  2. Select a folder in which you search for content data records in the folder list view.

    To search all content data records that are managed with ScanSnap Home, select the [Mac] folder.

    Note that the [Trash] folder is excluded from the search. To search content data records in the [Trash] folder, select the [Trash] folder.

  3. In the toolbar, enter the keywords in the search bar with Search.
    HINT
    • When you enter multiple keywords with a space between each word, you can search for content data records that include all the keywords you listed.

    • When a list of past searches and keyword suggestions appear by entering a character string in the search bar, you can select a keyword from the list and search for content data records.

  4. Press the [Return] key on the keyboard.

The content data records that you search for with the keyword are displayed in the Content Data Record List View.
