To connect the ScanSnap and a mobile device via Wi-Fi, you need to connect the ScanSnap and the mobile device to the same wireless access point. When the wireless access point supports WPS, you can connect the ScanSnap to the wireless access point by using the WPS button of the wireless access point.
After you connect the ScanSnap and the wireless access point, use the application that you installed on the mobile device to connect the ScanSnap and the mobile device.
- Set [Wi-Fi connect mode] to [Access point connection] for the ScanSnap.
- Press
in the home screen on the touch panel of the ScanSnap to display the [Settings] screen.
- Press
to display the [Wi-Fi settings] screen.
- Press [Wi-Fi connect mode] to display the [Wi-Fi connect mode] screen.
- Select [Access point connection].
- Press
to return to the [Wi-Fi settings] screen.
- Press
to return to the [Wi-Fi settings] screen.
- Connect the ScanSnap to a wireless access point.
- Press [Access point connection] to display the [Access point connection] screen.
- Press [Access point connect settings] to display the [Connection information configuration method] screen.
- Select [WPS (button)].
- Press the [Next] button.
- Press the button for the WPS function on the wireless access point.
The wireless access point is ready to be connected from the ScanSnap.
- Go back to the touch panel of the ScanSnap, and press the [Next] button in the [WPS (button)] screen within two minutes.
- Press the [Complete] button in the [Check Connection Results] screen.
- Press
to display the home screen.
- Check the scanner name of the ScanSnap.
- Press
to display the [Settings] screen.
- Press
to display the [Connecting Devices] screen.
- Check the scanner name that is displayed in [Scanner name].
- Start up an application on a mobile device, and connect the mobile device to the ScanSnap by using a wireless access point.
