Operation Troubles
This section explains troubles that may occur when the ScanSnap Cloud is used after setup is complete.
- A Message Indicating That the Number of Devices Has Reached the Maximum Amount Is Shown (ScanSnap Cloud v1.7 or earlier)
 
- Cannot Use Two-factor Authentication for the ScanSnap Account
 
- Both the ScanSnap Cloud Service and ScanSnap Manager Are Available for Use
 
- The ScanSnap Is Not Connected to the Network
 
- Cannot change the access point to another one on the same network
 
- The [Scan] Button and the Wi-Fi Indicator Do Not Light Up in Purple
 
- Scanning Does Not Start
 
- The Document Is Not Fed Smoothly/Paper Jams Occur
 
- Scanning Stops Once
 
- The [Scan] Button Was Lit in Orange during a Scan
 
- A Document Was Jammed in the ScanSnap during a Scan
 
- A Multifeed Was Detected during a Scan
 
- Documents Become Dirty
 
- The Document Is Damaged
 
- Abnormal Noise Is Generated from the ScanSnap
 
- Hiding the Camera Button
 
- Scanned Images Do Not Appear in the Scan History List
 
- The Image Is Not Saved in a Cloud Storage Service
 
- Did Not Receive a Notification
 
- The Carrier Sheet Is Not Fed Smoothly
 
- Part of the Image Appears Missing (Carrier Sheet)
 
- Vertical Streaks Appear in the Image
 
- Moire (Striped Pattern) Is Noticeable in the Image
 
- The Scanned Image Is out of Alignment or Distorted
 
- The Image Is Skewed
 
- Part of the Image Appears Missing/Slant Lines Appear on the Image
 
- The Image Is Wider than the Scanned Document
 
- The Text on an Image Is Not Readable
 
- Text on an Image Is Not Recognized Correctly
 
- A File Name Is Not Extracted Correctly
 
- The Lines in the Image Are Blurred
 
- Some Pages Are Deleted Even Though They Are Not Blank
 
- Failed to Change the File Name
 
- An Image Cannot Be Converted into a Searchable PDF file
