Transferring a Content Data Record/Folder

Transfer a content data record or a folder to another folder in ScanSnap Home.

The content data records or folders which can be transferred are those under the following folder.

  • [ScanSnap Home] folder

  • A folder which is assigned to be managed in ScanSnap Home

  1. Display the Main Window of ScanSnap Home.

    For details, refer to To Display the Main Window.

  2. Select a content data record or a folder to be transferred.

    You can select a content data record in the Content Data Record List View, and a folder in the folder list view.

    If you transfer multiple content data records, select the content data records while holding down the [Ctrl] key or [Shift] key.

  3. Drag and drop the selected content data record or folder to the destination folder.
    HINT
    • When a content data record or a folder is transferred from the original folder to the destination folder in which the content data record or the folder with the same name already exists, the following operations take place.

      • When a content data record with the same name exists

        A three-digit serial number is given to the title of the transferred content data record. The number of digits increases as necessary when the serial number exceeds three digits.

        Example: Title_001.xxx

      • When a folder with the same name exists

        The folders with the same name are merged and content data records in the original folder are transferred to the destination folder.

The selected content data or folder is transferred to the folder which you dragged and dropped it to.

  1. Display the Main Window of ScanSnap Home.

    Click the [ScanSnap Home] icon ScanSnap Home Icon in the application list that appears when you click Launchpad in the Dock.

  2. Select a content data record or a folder to be transferred.

    You can select a content data record in the Content Data Record List View, and a folder in the folder list view.

    If you transfer multiple content data records, select the content data records while holding down the [command command] key or [Shift] key.

  3. Drag and drop the selected content data record or folder to the destination folder.
    HINT
    • When a content data record or a folder is transferred from the original folder to the destination folder in which the content data record or the folder with the same name already exists, the following operations take place.

      • When a content data record with the same name exists
